Pal YU, Sai Yiu is an Architect by profession and has over 20 years of extensive experience in this field. He has obtained approved certification from the Architect Registration Board & Hong Kong Institute of Architects of the HKSAR. He is also registered as an Authorized Person (Architect) since 2001 under the Hong Kong Building Ordinance which enables him to be a licensed agent to communicate with different government departments on building project redevelopments.

Pal worked in one of the most renowned architectural practices in the world, P&T Architects & Engineers Limited, since he graduated from HKU in 1995. During his years of service in P&T, a number of well recognized projects were completed such as Canadian International School (Phases 1 & 2 and the Performing Arts Centre), Engineering Building Phase 2 at Chinese University - Hong Kong, Administration Building in the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology, Shunde Performing Arts Centre, Hong Kong Museum of History and Olympic Station in West Kowloon.

After 8 years with P&T, Pal started his own practice in 2003. His primary client in the early years was Li Ka Shing Foundation Ltd for a number of renovation and restructuring projects at Shantou University in the PRC. While working on various rewarding institutional projects, he also established his expertise in commercial projects such as sales offices/show flats for local developers and several retail projects.

Pal has worked with iQe in the past in assisting different organizations in building start-up schools which has involved participating in the concept design and operation details in schools in Macau, Shenzhen, Panyu and Cambodia.
