Bill Wan is a Chartered Accountant by profession who graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in accounting and management information systems. In 1995, he assisted a group of parents in the formation of West Point Grey Academy, an independent school on the West side of Vancouver. Through this proactive involvement, he developed a keen interest in school administration and has since been actively involved in the formation and management of more than eight university preparatory and independent schools in Canada and the USA.

Bill also co-founded TEC, an innovative company which owns three accredited colleges in healthcare, animation, film and recording industries, on separate campuses.
